Des nouvelles de notre projet d'Ambatolampy. Nos 75 enfants qui n'étaient pas scolarisés ont pu aller à l'école grâce à un prêt rentrée scolaire que notre association leur a fait. Ils rembourseront ce prêt lors de la prochaine récolte. Ce prêt est garantie par tous les parents d'élèves, les très pauvres et les un peu moins pauvres. Nous pourrons ainsi renouveler l'opération avec une autre école et ainsi de suite... Ils vont aussi faire un petit crédit pour acheter des tables, des bancs et un tableau noir.

L'augmentation du nombre d'élèves a permis de recruter une enseignante.

Enfin, l'association IDEENA leur a fait un don pour qu'ils puissent construire un puits pour le village.

Petite contrepartie de tout ça, nous leur avons demandé de tenir leur village propre. Ils nous ont promis qu'aucun déchet ne trainerait lors de notre prochaine visite début décembre. Nous vous tiendrons au courant.

 News about our Ambatolampy project. Our 75 children who were not in school have been able to go to school thanks to a loan that our association has granted them. They will repay this loan at the next harvest. This loan is guaranteed by all parents, the very poor and somewhat the least poor. We will be able to renew the operation with another school and so on ... They will also take a small loan to buy tables, benches and a blackboard.

As the number of students increased they have hired a teacher.

Thanks to IDEENA association they could build a well for the village.

Small counterpart to all this, we asked them to keep their village clean. They promised us that, on our next visit in early December, no waste would lie around . We will keep you informed… 

 Il y a dix ans (Voir article ici), nous avons planté dans notre petit village d’Amparihibe du jatropha curca. Nous y avons placé beaucoup d’espoir. Nous pensions extraire suffisamment d’huile de leurs graines pour pouvoir remplacer le gasoil. Apres dix ans d'errance, nous commençons à comprendre la culture du jatropha curca et l'extraction de son huile. Nous avons produit notre premier demi d’huile. Cette huile ne sera pas utilisée de façon massive comme le gasoil mais pour les motoculteurs et groupes électrogènes. On peut parier que nous le trouverons très rapidement dans les épiceries de brousse. Nous cultiverons de nouveau du jatropha curca dès janvier prochain.

Ten years ago (see Article)), we planted in our small village of Amparihibe jatropha curca. We have placed a lot of hope in it. We were thinking of extracting enough oil from their seeds to be able to replace the gas oil. After ten years of wandering, we begin to understand the cultivation of jatropha curca and the extraction of its oil. We produced our first half of oil. This oil will not be used in a massive way like gasoil but for the cultivators and power generators. We can bet we will find it very quickly in the bush grocery shops. We will cultivate jatropha curca again next January.
